Drake Circus is a new, fully covered shopping centre in the heart of Plymouth.

The complex comprises nearly 52,000 sq m of retail space including 8 major stores, over 48 shops plus cafés and restaurants.

There are also nearly 1,300 parking spaces across five levels.

T Clarke have been involved with the following M&E aspects of the project:

• Domestic Water Services
• Supply, Extract and Smoke Extract Ventilation Systems
• Public Toilet Facitilies
• Management Suite
• Security Control Room

The project has been managed on site by an established team ranging from a permanently site based Technical Director, Project Manager and Construction Manager through to Foremen, Installation Operatives and regular sub-contractors.

The project has made extensive use of the BIW internet based project management system for control of correspondance, drawings and instructions etc.
