Barry Town Hall comprises of the restoration and rejuvenation of the town hall, King Square and Central Park including an impressive library extension. The site is set to become a community hub and also bolster the town centre economy.

The project includes:

• New Civic Square for public events.
• Fully refurbished Central Park, play areas, seating, lighting and public art.
• New central library, with IT facilities, children's reading garden, exhibition space, catering facilities, community police facility and town centre management office.

Some of the buildings many features include:

• Lighting control system with daylight sensing facility.
• 'Designer' feature lighting.
• Security system including full CCTV coverage as well as intruder and panic attack alarms.
• Fully integrated fire detection and building management systems.
• Data and telephone system structured cabling.
• Structured cabling for PA system.
• Automatic window control system for natural air circulation and cooling.
• External lighting, both decorative and functional.
• External Pop up Power supplies in Kings Square.
